In the early 80's there were a few artists who did drawings in the NYC subways on ad-covering black papers, most notably Keith Haring, who invented the artform. But there were others, including a cockroach character, and variations on an architectural scale figure called 'Lobes'. The MTA would paste over paid ads at the end of their run, providing blank canvases for people with white chalk or markers. This is from a notebook layout for a subway piece, in hopes of getting to the black paper first.

This vintage-style t-shirt has that soft, worn-in look people love from day one. The garment-dyed finish creates subtle color variations, making every piece feel unique and relaxed. It’s an easy everyday tee that works just as well styled up or worn casually.
